Member Relations

The Member Relations committee is excited to welcome professionals engaged in working with students in the transition from secondary to post-secondary education to SACAC. Acting as the liaison between members and the SACAC Board, the Member Relations committee ensures the needs of the membership are met. The Member Relations team oversees social media initiatives, matches volunteers with opportunities to serve SACAC, and manages the Free Access Membership for Public School Counselors and Community Based Organizations. Additionally, the Member Relations team facilitates Special Interest Groups for members which allow for networking and collaboration within a small “micro” community.

The Member Relations Committee shall be responsible for soliciting and promoting membership in the Association, for receiving and processing applications for membership and making recommendations thereon to the Board of Directors, and for making recommendations to the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, and members of the Association with respect to the classes, rights, preferences and dues of members.
